Lefkada Island

Lefkada is an island of the Ionian Sea and it is the only island accessible by car, as it is connected via a bridge to the area of Aitoloakarnania.

The town of Lefkada has many and important points of interest. Among them are the ruins of ancient Lefkada and the fortification walls. You should visit the very well preserved Venetian castle-fortress of Agia Mavra, as well as the park called Bosketo.

The famous Nydri town is one of the most popular areas of Lefkada. Opposite the town lies Scorpios, the small private island of Aristotle Onassis. From Nydri you can take a boat to explore the four islands of Lefkada: Prigiponissa, Meganisi, Kalamos and Kastos. You will be enchanted!

In Lefkada you will find some of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, which are awarded Blue Flag every year and win international distinctions such as Kathisma beach, Egremni and Porto Katsiki. You can also enjoy the sun, the sea and water sport activities on other beautiful beaches such as Agios Nikitas, Nydri, Pefkoulia, Skala Yalou, Mylos, Agiofyli.

Lefkada offers many activities and sports such as windsurf, kitesurf, paragliding, scuba diving, ultra-light airplane flights, horseback riding, sailing around the small islands of the area and Scorpio of Onassis.
